Hi
To save the time in doing separate polls in all the Dr Who forums etc I can find on the net. It is much better and more accurate a representation if just one poll is used.
Therefore if you are a fan of Dr Who and would like to possibly see something 'special' for its 50th Anniversary. Please take a minute or so to drop by here ok

Thanks in advance.

It would be nice of the BBC would animate one of Patrick Troughton's Dalek stories or The Web of Fear. |

| Hmmmm, sadly i would have to become a member of said board to vote and even if i wished to I would only have 8 stories to choose from which don't include one of my three choices which is The Massacre! |

| Marco Polo's one on my list pretty consistently, but there are four or five stories that jockey for the other two slots in my top three, depending on my mood and various outside stimulae like which recon I've watched most recently. DMP, The Massacre, Troughton's Dalek stories, The Enemy of the World are usually the one's I'd also like to see animated the most, but The Highlanders and Fury sometimes make the list too, and an anime version of Galaxy Four appeals to me in an eechi sort of way. |

Various outside stimuli? What might those be? |

Taking a course on the rise of religious toleration in western civilization last semester shot "The Massacre" way up in my estimation by giving me a much firmer grasp of the context of the story. Hopping online and reading a thread praising another story tends to move it up on my most wanted list by just putting it more firmly in my mind than some of the others.
So the basic types of outside stimuli that shift my list around are:
1) Watching surviving episodes/recons of a given story. 2) Discussion of a given story. 3) Exposure to material related to a given story. 4) Being hooked up to a Ludoviko divice and operantly conditioned into hating a given story. |
