Hi

Been playing with video editing & I'd like to do the rolling captions with the colid background like you use on the recons.

What software do you use to create them? Any info you have would be helpful.

I'm using PC with XP BTW

They are just done in Ulead Media Studio along with most of the editing, however i imagine any editing prog will do someting similar
Has Doctor Who merchandise gone too far?

I've been try premiere 6, but it doesn't seem to do it - only as a long solid bar. I'll look see about these other programs

You should be able to add a moving path to the solid bar so that it starts off screen to the right and ends off screen to the left - thus making a scrolling caption.
