Just an idle curiosity, an utterly minor pondering of no consequence to anyone ever (save for me just now): what episodes do the opening sequences for each of the Doctors come from on the LC recons? Presuming the same source is used for all First Doctor episodes, and the two for the Second, that is. I'd assume for serials that had existing parts, they'd use one from that for the eps reconed. But I think it'd be interesting, if not incredibly trivial, to know what the "default" ep is the LC guys go to for the most commonly used aspect of the reconstructions.

Well for Troughton the actual clean titles are available so they are used but sometimes they are intercut with the titles from existing episodes, depends on what is involved really, for example on the upcoming Evil recon the actual format of the words The Evil of the Daleks" changes between episodes so you have on some episodes
"THE EVIL OF THE DALEKS"
on others
"THE EVIL
OF THE
DALEKS"
other stories, for example when we get to Wheel in Space, have unusual things in the titles so they will have to be approached in a different way
For Hartnell there is no clean ones available IIRC so we use the longest existing story which is IIRC one of the episodes of DIOE |

| Surely for Wheel in Space you can just pull the clean shot of the Wheel from The War Games, and if necessary artificially extend it somehow? :) |

Well I suppose there are a few options, redo it in CGI, extend the War Games one but that is quite a bit too short or do something with the existing titles |
