Which LC Recon are you most looking forward to?

There are three stories the LC team haven't yet released: The Web of Fear, The Wheel in Space and The Evil of the Daleks. Of those, Evil and Web the ones I'm most looking forward to. Evil's in the works, so my number one request after that would be Web.

Now that said, there are a number of early LC releases I'd love to see re-released and revamped. In particular, I've always like the Faceless ones, but suspect in today's day and age, it could be redone a lot better.

I'd also love to see a new version of The Tenth Planet episode 4.

What do you guys think?

I'm just sittin' here watching the wheels go 'round and 'round....

TP 4 is a no no as the BBC have done their own version.

Evil's at the top of my list, then Web. I have a recon of Wheel from another group so I can wait for that one, though I'm sure the LC team can improve on the rather dated version I've got.

The BBC version was done on VHS and, as I understand it, is no longer in print. That might make a difference.

I'd really, really like to see GALAXY 4 redone :

Not because its my favourite story ( altho I do really like it ) but because the present LC recon of it is visually superb & one of their most inventive
(eg the building of Chumblies etc )
- however (as is noted on the reviews of it on its LC page) the soundtrack is terrible & very hard to listen to.

The BBC cd release has a very clear audio - so obviously there is at least 1 good quality off-air audio of it :

Hence my desire to see it "redone" - to be honest if visually it was 100% unchanged but with a decent audio as mentioned imo that would be wonderful enough in itself!

So; because the soundtrack is so poor & the visuals so great & because it would seem there IS a far better audio out there imo its crying out to be redone audio wise so as to do justice to LC's great visuals.

And for this reason after Faceless Ones ( & Evil/Web/Wheel ) it seems to be the one most not so much requiring, but deserving, a redo.

Does Russ, or anyone, know if a better audio is available yet ( eg the one the BBC used as the basis of their CD ) ?

It'd be great to know.

Also; what does everyone else think re G4 with a new audio?

In terms of personal preference I'd love to see ( after Evil )probably Faceless Ones 1st & then Galaxy 4 as mentioned & then Web & Wheel

Evil will indeed be interesting to watch. But my heart belongs to web of fear. I am intrigued to see what they will do with that. I presume it may well be at planning stages, or they might have a few ideas kicking around, and with 3D graphics being more financially feasible these days im curious to know what they will end up doing.............
The 3D I saw for evil was most impressive though :)

The CGI Yeti in "Abominable" were interesting, and there were 3D Yeti in the underground in the Dr Who computer game in what, 1997? Seems an age ago... I am sure they will be just as atmopsheric if not more so! God that game freaked me out!
