Posted - 26 May 2009 : 04:07:23 OK, I understand why Loose Cannon doesn't support electronic or DVD distribution of their recons, and I'm not complaining about that.
What I'd like to know is: Where can I actually BUY blanks VHS tapes in the States? Those things are getting rare nowadays! I found some T120 tapes at WalMart, but I can't find T160 tapes (which most of the recons need) anywhere.... |

Posted - 12 Jun 2009 : 19:51:50 What? People still own VHS players? I converted everything I had on tape over to digital many many moons ago. I do rather question the use of technology that is soon going to be impossible to buy. Anyone seen any 5 1/2" floppies for sale recently? |

Trust me. They're not easy to find in Valdosta, GA. |

Posted - 07 Jun 2009 : 06:52:09 I've posted about the trouble I've been having finding nice VHS blanks in my area. Walgreens only carries "standard" Maxell (whatever happened to the "hi-grade" stuff?) and I've had three dubs returned with various major problems thanks to the quality of the tapes. Then I have to start the process all over again. And it's not cheap mailing what feels like a box of bricks. |

I saw both T120 and T160 tapes at a Jewel-Osco store in the Chicago area yesterday. If you still have trouble finding T160s, PM me. I can pick some up and ship 'em to ya.

Our Aldi hasn't stocked them in ages........no call for them so they say. |

Posted - 29 May 2009 : 00:07:18 Which really doesn't help the OP much, since he's in the US!
If the shops Tox listed aren't an option, then BestBuy.com has some here http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=3166193&type=product&id=1118841019009 - might be a bit pricey depending though... |

Posted - 26 May 2009 : 14:30:03 Try asking your dub site, I'm sure they will be able to help you out. |

Posted - 26 May 2009 : 13:36:18 Try searching online maybe. Ebay always has some regular sellers stocking VHS. |
