Hi everybody,

I'm in the process of trying to compile a list of all the recons I own. It's taking a long time, but I think I'm nearly there.

I was just wondering if, a, there was such a list already in existence somewhere that details the variants of certain reconstructions (I seem to recall some of the Palmer ones having about three different variants apiece depending on which dubber you contacted!) and, b, if there was any dubber around with recons beyond the Loose Cannon ones. I'm looking for some of the older ones, such as the original Richard Develyn attempts, a couple of the COI ones, that sort of thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nick.

I have copies of various recons, but they are in digital AVI or MPEG format so I can't help you.

There are two variations of my own Moonbase recon, but only one is in circulation..

Thanks for that, I couldn't watch much of it, and it was a while ago.

You're thinking of Harold Achatz's reconstruction of The Daleks' Master Plan. A bizarre viewing experience, for sure, but I always salute the effort to do something different.

Whose was the hilarious (and awful) "Mission to the Unknown" which had character's eyelids animate in time to their lip movements?

I know it wasn't Loose Cannon!

I'll contact Steve Hatcher as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure he was my dubber ages ago, but I lost his details after my MacBook crashed a while back.

Thanks again: much appreciated.

Steve changed his mail a while ago, drop me a line on help@nospamrecons.com (obviously lose the nospam) and i will forward a message on for you - Steve is away for a few weeks though

steve hatcher did a great piece in the shockyes snack fanzine in early 2002 http://www.shockeye.org.uk/Freezer/Bonetopick/Recons/index.html it was that piece that got me into loose cannon recons ,so he is the chap to ask :)

Assuming you are in the UK Steve Hatcher is probably your best bet Nick, though i am unsure if he would have all the minor Palmer variants or not
