Well I have had three requests through today and just tested it myself, I imagine its more to do with your e mail set up
However just drop a line to dubuk@recons.com with your name, address and which recons you require and i'll sort it for you

I`m having probs ordering re cons now as the ordering has seemed to have changed - why is that?
It has changed because a) we had problems with the old forms which couldn't be resolved and b) if a dubsite vanished (as some do periodically) people just got no response and c) some dubsites got many more requests than others due to being at the top of the list or having a familiar name etc. It now all comes centrally through me and pass requests onto dubsites in a reasonably even manner and try to check they are responding
It shouldn't be difficult to order, just drop an e mail to the link on the request page and it will get forwarded.
The old system was better when dubsites responded but when they didn't it became a bit of a nightmare, overall the new system is working better |

Posted - 20 Mar 2008 : 03:14:48 Well Stuart, were I ever to meet you, I'd happily buy you a few pints, you deserve it, slaving away on those wondrous monochrome CGI Dalek graphics, and such!
What are you doing still up at this unearthly hour-no, maybe, don't answer that!
Seriously, though, having recently checked what's on offer from Loose Cannon, I really am most pleased indeed by the re-do's news, and the hints of the upcoming Evil of the Daleks recon. There are some great fans out there, doing terrific work! Salutations... :-) |

Posted - 20 Mar 2008 : 02:39:07 "Wizard" and "Computer genius" in the space of a few posts??!!!
I'm definitely no wizard, though I can make several pints of bitter disappear quite quickly. And I'm certainly no computer genius - oh how I wish!!!
I just hope you enjoy what I CAN do and try to forgive what I can't! |

Posted - 20 Mar 2008 : 01:17:27 Hi Guys,
DELIGHTED about the recent batch of redux recons, with all those visual improvements: SMUGGLERS, SAVAGES, HIGHLANDERS, MYTH MAKERS, SPACE PIRATES - you lot are making classic stories recons EVEN BETTER, and as a die-hard 60's fan, I am THRILLED by what you do! "Bless you all!"
And THEN you show us a hint of what Wizard Stuart Palmer is up to, for EotD, so again THINGS CAN ONLY GET E V E N B E T T E R !!! This is all seriously good news, you folks are really spoiling us now! Thank you one and all, don't stop now!
Can't wait to see what you'll come up with for THE WEB OF FEAR, except it's bound to be novel!
And, YES PLEASE GUYS, give us a new improved THE TENTH PLANET Episode 4, using as many of the original Telesnaps as possible - re-make it, even better!
Q: Will BBC Audio ever release an MP3-CD with telesnaps for THE HIGHLANDERS, like they did for POWER OF THE DALEKS? I wish they would! In fact, I wish they'd do all the missing Hartnell and Troughton telesnap stories, like that! (To complement, not rival, what LC are doing on VHS)...
Sean. :-) |

Posted - 16 Mar 2008 : 23:33:22 Hey Russ! Sounds like there's a decent amount of support for a new Tenth Planet Ep 4 recon! |

Posted - 16 Mar 2008 : 21:44:51 One example is about 17 minutes in when Ben uses the Cybermen's communication device. They put up an image of Ben leaning over the desk with Barclay sitting and Polly standing behind watching. The figure I thought was Cutler was another man in uniform standing behind the Doctor. Of course the other stills they use from episode 2 fit in well enough. |

I noticed that the BBC recon of the Tenth Planet part four didn't always use the telesnaps. Some of their images came from the previous episodes. It is especially noticable when you see Polly or General Cutler in the background of a scene when they shouldn't be. An updated Loose Cannon recon would be great.
I know publicity photos were also used and maybe even set photos, i can't remember any discrepencies myself but its been a while since i saw it.. |

Posted - 16 Mar 2008 : 01:23:47 I quite like "The Savages" and am looking forward to the updated reconstruction. It's the EotD recon that really has me salivating though. |

Out of interest, would LC be considering doing The Tenth Planet 4 again, (since the BBC recon is long deleted) and tacking the single episode on to the end of The Smugglers or something?
Possibly, i don't suppose its out of bounds now as the BBC release is withdrawn, its something that rarely gets asked for though, people seem generally happy with the beeb version
well a loose cannon 10th planet episode 4 would be great, although the bbc video recon isnt too bad ,a full screen reconstruction with no moving background to distract us |

Posted - 15 Mar 2008 : 18:02:16 I'll have to get copies of the latest updated recons. I haven't picked up any of the revised versions due to the cost of postage. I'm hoping you guys do a revision of The Faceless Ones someday. That is one underrated story which could use a polished recon. |
